Subaru Love Promise

One thing you can always guarantee on, is Subaru's willingness to help! I have been a dog parent as long as I can remember, and my animals mean the world to me! My oldest baby (Miley), recently dealt with a MAJOR infection, and if it had not been for the Subaru team, (specifically Julie and Jill) my baby might not be here at this very moment. Miley is 15 years old, and like most old dogs, she has ALOT to say. Miley is NEVER quiet, so when she woke up one morning lethargic, and completely quiet I knew something was off. Miley had developed a pyometra infection. For anyone who does not know, a pyometra is typically an infection that can be found in female dogs who have not been spayed. Miley became very sick very fast, so I knew I had to get her to a vet asap! Miley visited an emergency veterinarian where I was told that the issue at hand was "nothing serious" however I KNOW my baby and her daily habits! Miley became extremely lethargic over night, and quickly went down hill. Desperate for help, I reached out to another local vet, and was told that this was a very serious issue, (pyometra infection) and that Miley would need surgery to remove the infection, totaling over $3000.00!!! Living in this day and time, it is extremely hard for some of us to gather that amount of money with a 24 hour period...but I KNEW i had to do something in order to save my Miley's life. That's when I decided to reach out to Julie at Subaru, and explained the entire situation to her! Julie works with Planned Pethood regularly, and was more than happy to get me the information to speak with them! Not only that, but once I found out Miley would HAVE to have surgery with Planned Pethood 8in order to save her life, Julie and Jill also went above and BEYOND for me. They paid for the ENTIRE surgery Miley needed to get back to her happy and healthy self! Miley has been doing AMAZING since her surgery and seems to have more energy now that she has had in the last 2-3 years. She has been given a brand new chance at life at 15 years old! Being an employee myself at Subaru of Gwinnett, I walk into work EVERY SINGLE DAY with a positive attitude just knowing my life would be entirely different (in the worst way) if not for this companies compassion and overall LOVE for animals. One thing I stand firm on, is the fact Subaru is willing to help ANYONE, should they be able to in a time of need! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! For giving me more time with my girl!!!

Hopkins Elementary would like to give a thanks to Subaru for the coats that our students received! Something as simple as a coat can make a student's day. The students loved to pick out the colors they liked and got so excited once they saw the jacket fit. Subaru has been a great partner for Hopkins in many ways. It is great to see community partners making that step to help within the community and giving back. We look forward to many more opportunities to work together for our community and school! Rainbow Village would like to thank General Manager Jennifer Kessler and her awesome team for hosting a Lil Shoppers Shoppe for the children of Rainbow Village at the dealership. It was a super fun shopping experience combined with a little financial management lesson built in! Subaru provided each child with a $25 gift voucher to be used to select gifts for family and friends. Children had to make their selections and stay within budget! Thank you so much for all you do to support Rainbow Village and the families we serve. It was a special day these kids will never forget!
